Ransom Everglades Celebrates the 305

Ransom Everglades Celebrated The 305 from the Florida Keys to Wynwood Walls with the 33rd-annual REPA auction, which drew more than 500 guests who dined on a range of local delicacies and soaked up the South Florida vibe while generously supporting RE's financial aid program.
Guests assembled at the Henry H. Anderson '38 Gymnasium where they bid on items ranging from a five-day Argentinean dove hunt for five (valued at $15,000), to two Heat tickets near the court ($2,000), to a plate of Mrs. Edmunds' homemade brownies, which were considered priceless. They sampled Cuban-themed bites, tropical treats from the sea, RE Tailgate Sliders and other locally inspired choices, then stayed late to dance at the after-party.

The pre-auction Wine Walk offered samples of exquisite and rare whites and reds from France, Italy and California, each glass enhanced by the expertise of Trey Christie of Spire Collection. RE Chair of the Board Rudy Prio Touzet thanked the assembled crowd, those who donated items, REPA Auction Chair Lisa Mendelson, REPA President Laurie McWilliams and the dozens of parent volunteers who made the evening a tremendous success.
