Faculty honored with Years of Service Recognition

Ransom Everglades Head of School Penny Townsend honored more than a dozen faculty members with Years of Service Recognition during the June 7 end-of-school luncheon, an event that also served to bid farewell to retiring and departing faculty.
Robert "Doc" Crabtree and Karen Thompson were honored for 35 years of service. Steve Howlan, who is retiring, and Greg Siegler were recognized for 30-year anniversaries. Guillermo Urbina achieved 25 years; Jon Hamm and Jen Nero, 20 each; and Michael Groeninger, Ramona Miller, Mari Carmen Naranjo, Maria Martinez and Amy Sayfie Zichella '93, 15 years.

Jorge Guzman, Roy Kelly, Eddie Palau, Kimberly Pineda, Jose Ramos and Matt Stock reached their 10-year anniversaries.

Ransom Everglades faculty, staff and administrators also showered ovations on departing faculty and staff: Howlan, Jose Pulido, Irene Bustamante '83, Marisa Phirangee, Jody Crosland, Ellen Samimy, Nick Pison, Scott Warfel and Julie Smith.
