RE swimming claims two district team titles
Ransom Everglades swimmers put their arms around one another and gathered in a huddle in anticipation of the announcement of team champions at the 2023 Florida High School Athletic Association 1A District 12 Championships at the Ansin Aquatic Center on Oct. 19. The swimmers – and their parents – jumped for joy when the announcer confirmed that both teams finished in first place to claim district titles.Read More -
Raider swimming shines at RE Invitational
On a beautiful Saturday morning at the Ansin Aquatic Center, the Raiders competed at high level to earn a third place finish for the girls and a second place finish for the boys at the RE Invitational. Junior Kiera Rampersad '25 led the way on the girls side with four gold medals and one bronze. Junior Sydney Gould '25 had her best performance of the season with a gold and two bronze medals. The highlight of the day for the girls came in the 4x50 relay where the Raiders earned a 1st place finish to cap off a successful meet. On the boys side, seniors Jake Perdigon '24 and Milo Gorey '24 earned a pair of silver medals. Sophomores Jay Holly '26 and Lincoln Broad '26 had strong performances as well. The Raiders will now turn their attention to a week of practice as they gear up for senior night next Wednesday in their final tune up before the district championships on Oct, 19th.Read More -

Raider swimming wins opening meet
Read MoreJunior Kiera Rampersad '25 and sophomore Sophia Linfield '26 led the way with victories in both of their individual and relay events as the Raiders defeated Miami Country Day, LaSalle, and True North to open the season at the Ansin Aquatic Center. Junior Riley Sepin '25 was also impressive with victory in the 100 yard backstroke. On the boys side, the Raiders were victorious in the 4 x 50 yard freestyle relay and were also perfect on the day with victories over the same schools. The Raiders will get back in the water today as they prepare for their second meet of the season next Wednesday at home. Meet time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
