Six Ransom Everglades seniors earned National Advanced Placement Scholar recognition, the highest level of distinction awarded by the College Board. Eric Cai, Matias Junghahn, Joon Young Kim, John Mistele, Timmy O'Brien and Cristina Otero each received a 4 or higher on at least eight AP exams, and averaged at least a 4 on all of their AP exams.
Ransom Everglades honored the six during an Upper School awards assembly on Dec. 6.
Another 42 RE seniors were recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction, meaning they received at least a 3.5 average score on all of their AP exams, and a 3 or above on at least five.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it."
