The 2009 - 2010 Annual Fund

Congratulations to all Annual Fund volunteers! Their combined efforts surpassed the goal of $1,000,000 and they ended the year with a grand total of $1,011,044. The students and faculty at Ransom Everglades School are the direct beneficiaries of your investment.
The 2009-10 Annual Fund is goal $1,000,000 and the Alumni goal is $300,000.

Ransom Everglades School -
graduating the leaders for the future.
- In the past three years, Ransom Everglades students have taken
- nearly 2,100 Advanced Placement exams in 29 subject areas
- the school’s passing rate is 92%, with an average score of 4.07 on all exams (exams are scored on a 1-to-5 scale, with “3” representing a passing score and “5” being the highest score).
- RE ranked 1st in the state of Florida among independent schools (and 2nd overall) with the highest percentage of seniors recognized as National Merit Semifinalists.
- Our 144 graduating seniors are attending 67 colleges in 26 states and Washington D.C.
- Most-represented: Massachusetts (30), New York (16), Florida (16), Washington D.C. (10), Missouri (9), Pennsylvania (9)
- Class of 2009 median scores for Standardized Testing: ACT composite (29), SAT—Critical Reading 650, Math 670, Writing 660.
