Record number of legacy students in Class of 2026

Ransom Everglades welcomed a record 40 legacy students − children of alumni − to the Class of 2026, and many assembled with their alumni parents for a special photo before the sixth-grade orientation on August 19.
That remarkable tally includes four students who have two alumni parents: Stella Newman ’26 (Lisa Usiak Newman ’94 and Robert Newman ’95), Ruby Brooks ’26 (Cristina Rodriguez ’92 and Larry Brooks ’92), Jacob Aronow ’26 (Heather Lavan Aronow ’91 and David Aronow ’76) and Alexa Dueñas ‘26 (Vivian Mora Dueñas ’95 and Miguel Dueñas ’95).

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it."
