Expanded dance ensemble shines

A significantly enhanced Ransom Everglades student dance program featuring more than 40 seventh graders and the fresh talents of 15 sixth graders entertained a jammed Swenson Hall on Dec. 14 with the All-School Dance Showcase "REflections." The program also featured more than a dozen Upper School dancers, 20 eighth graders and cameo appearances from the Upper School's RE Guitar Ensemble. Photo Gallery
Under the direction of dance faculty members Desiree Masucci and Bailey Farrell, the RE dancers performed reflective pieces to a range of styles from ballet to hip-hop. The Guitar Ensemble provided the music and vocals for several pieces, with Adam Chopp '22 and Briana Suarez '20 joining Upper School performing arts director Jon Hamm for solos. More than twice as many students participated in this year's fall showcase than in last year's.
