Prevention specialists from FCD will present information about drug, alcohol and nicotine use by adolescents and provide strategies for parents to engage in conversations with their children. There will be a Q & A session after the presentation. All parents welcome; targeted to 8-12 grade parents.

The Middle School One Book One Day One School (OBODOS) program includes an evening for parents with author, Ana Veciana-Suarez in Swenson Hall, on Monday, March 11, at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served in the cafeteria before Ms. Veciana-Suarez speaks.

On Wednesday, March 13, students have a full day of activities and a writing workshop with the author, Ms. Ana Veciana-Suarez. The activities range from traditions and cultural events to creating an art piece that can be enjoyed by all. We anticipate a continued enthusiasm and success for this event.
Middle School Parents, bring a favorite dish and attend the Middle School Multicultural Day! Please consider contributing a dish for the students to enjoy that celebrates a cultural or family-favorite recipe. We appreciate anything your busy schedule allows you to do. Dishes can be homemade or store bought and usually range from 10-25 servings.
