A national expert on standardized testing shared test-taking and test-preparation strategies with RE parents during a special evening college counseling event at the Lewis Family Auditorium on Feb. 5. Adam Ingersoll, the Co-Founder and Principal of the Compass Education Group in California, addressed the differences between the ACT and SAT, the SAT Subject Tests, colleges' reliances on results, optimal timing for testing and other typically vexing issues.
He also took questions from parents during the event, one of several special opportunities for parents provided by RE's college counseling team under Director of College Counseling Claudia Jolivert. Earlier in 2018-19, RE offered sessions on athletic recruiting and financial aid, and special events for each high school class.
