RE's physics team first at Barry U

RE's physics team – Tomas Graglia '19, Daniela Zaidenberg '19, Thomas Murphy  '19, Samson Bienstock '19, Alex Abinader '19 and Andres Segrera '19 – won first place in the 18th Annual Chemistry and Physics Tournament at Barry University on April 12, winning the lab portion of the competition and finishing second in the oral part. RE's chemistry team earned third place in the chemistry laboratory.
Five RE physics students also were recognized for posting top-10 scores on the written individual exam: Graglia finished second; Zaidenberg, third; Murphy, fourth; Bienstock, fifth; and Abindader, ninth. The team competed under faculty member Paul Natland '02, who was absent because of illness.

Leo Ratzan '19, Alex Freedline '20, Lachlain McGranahan '20, Marlon Ly '20, Felipe Sarmiento '20 and Dori Schurr '20 competed on the chemistry team under faculty member Bailey Farrell.
