Raiders protect home court with big win

Mia Balestra '21 finished with a season-high 23 kills as Ransom Everglades won a four-set decision (25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22) over Gulliver Prep, Friday night.  There was plenty of back-and-forth action throughout the match with the two teams battling through 25 ties and 10 lead changes in the four-set match. In the decisive fourth set, Ransom Everglades built an early lead and carried that lead all the way to the finish.  Cami Lindsey '21 came through in a big way with 13 service point and seven digs. Also contributing were Kelli Miller '21 who had 12 digs, and Juliana Williamson '22' with nine kills. The win puts the Raiders at 2-0 as they head into an important match up with Saint Brendan School at home on Wednesday, September 18th, 5:30 PM.
