Raiders move to 2-0 with shutout against Key West

Senior Grace Burke '23, junior Sofia Rua '24 and freshman Olivia Geller '26 each scored a goal to the lead the Raiders to a 3-0 defeat against Key West High School to move to 2-0 on the season. Seniors Alexis Tie-Shue '23,  Sophia Juhasz '23 and freshman Johanna James '26 provided the assists on the three goals. Goaltender Lauren Howard '23 was terrific in net stopping all shots on goal to record her second shut out of the season. Midfielders Andrea Paniagua '24 and Anna Lavernia '25 continued their strong start to the season controlling time of possession and creating offensive opportunities for the forwards. The Raiders will get back to the practice field today, as they prepare for a palm league road contest Tuesday afternoon against Benjamin High School. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
