Raiders pick up key victory over Gulliver Prep
Senior Kathryn Serra '23 led the way with 15 points and 20 rebounds in a hard fought 46-39 victory over Gulliver Prep. The victory moves the Raiders to 12-6 on the year with two weeks remaining in the regular season. Junior Ana Cury '24 provided a spark off the bench with six points and two rebounds in 13 minutes of action. Juniors Leah Croom '24 and Gabriella Pena '24 picked up the remainder of the scoring load with a combined 23 points on the evening. Defensively, the Raiders remained formidable holding Gulliver to 38 % shooting and seven total free throw attempts. The Raiders will get back on the court today for practice as they prepare for a road contest at Don Soffer Aventura High School Friday afternoon. Tip time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
