Ten upper school students named to district honor band

Ten musicians from RE's Combined Symphonic Band have been named to the 2023 District 20 Honor Band and will perform on Jan. 21 at Westminster Christian School. The RE students are members of the school's jazz band, RE combo and symphonic band classes at the upper school under director Jon Hamm. The district includes 10 of the top high school programs in South Florida.
The band will be conducted by Barry W. Bernhardt, Director of Bands at Florida International University. The students will be rehearsing and performing on the campus of Westminster Christian Jan. 20-21, culminating in a 4 p.m. concert on Jan. 21. The students are:

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
