Raiders roll in opener

The Raiders kicked off their season with a strong showing against Somerset Academy to move to 1-0 on the season. The Raider defense shined holding Somerset to under 130 yards of total offense and two of nine on third downs. Junior RJ Donaldson '25 had his best night as a Raider, recording his first career interception which would be returned for a touchdown. Offensively, the Raiders were led by 8th grader Neimann Lawrence '28 who through for over 300 yards and five touchdowns in the victory. Senior Bryce Sadler '24 was terrific hauling in three touchdown passes. Senior Ryan Bienstock '24, junior Reid Rosenberg '25 and 8th grader Ron Williams '28 would round out the scoring with a touchdown of their own in route to a 48-0 victory. The Raiders will get back to the practice field today as they prepare for a road contest Friday night against Coral Spring Charter. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
