Raiders move to 3-0 with convincing homecoming victory

Trickery was on full display Friday evening as the Raiders scored on a hook and ladder and then later on a throwback pass to put a stamp on a dominant performace in 37-7 victory over Pine Crest. Freshman Neimann Lawrence '28 continued his outstanding season with 251 passing yards and a season high five touchdown passes in the win. Freshman Colton Smith '28, Finn McCarron '28, juniors Rauli Matos '26, Juan Velazco '26 and senior Reid Rosenberg '25 all caught a touchdown pass in a strong showing by the receiver room. Defensively, the Raiders continued putting pressure on the quarterback as senior RJ Donaldson '25 had two sacks and the defensive line was strong against the running attack of Pine Crest. It was also a special night for the entire Raider football program as 75 years of RE football alumni were honored in a special ceremony at halftime. The Raiders will now turn their attention to the start of district play with a crucial road game this Thursday against LaSalle. Kick off is set for 6:00 p.m.
