Work on second floor of STEM Center begins

Workers completed the framing of the first floor of the STEM Center in the last week of June, and have begun work on the second floor of the three-story 43,500 sq. ft. facility. Once the framing is completed in the coming weeks, workers will begin post-tensioning the floors of the building's concrete support slabs to strengthen them.
The building skeleton has begun to loom impressively over the center of the Upper School campus, visible from the new drop-off loop. Work also has commenced on the renovation of the house on the La Brisa property that will eventually house offices for school leadership and administration. The STEM Center is slated for completion by January 2020
