REpurpose & REcycle Books and Uniforms Collection

The REPA Environmental Sustainability Committee together with the Upper School Environmental Sustainability Council and Middle School Green Team will be hosting a collection to REpurpose paperback books used at Ransom Everglades! We will also be collecting used uniforms (RE uniform shirts, shorts, sweatshirts and PE uniforms) for REpurposing. All books and uniforms will be REused in the Ransom Everglades community upon REquest. 

When:
  • Middle School: May 24-27 (ends at 4:00 PM)
  • Upper School: May 24-28

What: 
  • Used paperback reading books used for classes this year to be REpurposed for RE families for next year. Books will be sorted and REpurposed by REPA. Books that are not REusable will be REcycled. 
  • NEW unused paperback books can be returned directly to the bookstore for a credit to your student’s account. 
  • Textbooks are not being collected during this drive, but they can be returned to the MBS for a partial credit. For more information about reselling textbooks, please visit the textbook buyback web page
  • Notebooks and other paper school supplies can be placed in designated collection bins for REcycling. 

Where: 
COLLECTION BINS for used paperback texts, uniforms, and recycling will be located by the drop-off loop at the middle school and in the drop-off loop by the Ransom Cottage at the upper school.
