Practice mindfulness meditation with meditation coach Alice Jacobson Lash '78.
Mindfulness is a proven technique for managing stress and anxiety. In this once-a-week, four-part workshop, you will be introduced to the basics of mindfulness and learn how it can be used in your daily life. We will discuss the benefits of mindfulness and how it is cultivated through meditation, and guide you through mindfulness meditations. We will leave time for questions and provide suggestions on practicing mindfulness meditation on your own.

This is a great program if you are new to mindfulness meditation, but is also appropriate for practitioners who wish to restart or continue a mindfulness meditation practice.

Each weekly 45-minute session can be taken on its own, although the greatest benefit will come from attending all four sessions. It will be a wonderful opportunity to come together as Ransom Everglades alumni and support each other in our wellbeing.
