RE's academic team continues success

RE's academic team continued its excellence this season as RE's varsity team of Lucas Miner '20Justin Lopez '19 and Alex Boehm '19 finished second in the varsity bowl and Javier Kumar '22 and Victoria Davis '21 won the JV bowl at the 2019 South Florida History Bee and Bowl Championships at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School on Feb. 23. Miner also finished second in the varsity bee as Kumar and Leo Fein '23 scored the top two places in the JV bee.
RE's academic team is led by coach Branly Fontaine. Both squads qualified for the National History Bowl and Bee Championships in Arlington, Va., at the end of April.
