REbotics advances to world championship
The Middle School REbotics team of Pablo Rodriguez-Russowsky ’23, Victor Perez ’23, Luca Trebotich ’23 and Diego de Lope ’23 won the Create Award and third place in the teamwork event at The South Florida VEX IQ Middle School State Championship at G. Holmes Braddock High on March 2. The results in a field of more than 40 teams earned REbotics a bid to VEX IQ World Championships in Louisville, Ky., in April.
The Create Award recognizes the robot with a creative engineering solution. Three RE MS teams were led by robotics coach Gustavo Palacios.
