Raiders outlast St. Brendan in five set thriller

Dani Ortiz '21 returned from injury with a team high 44 assists as the Raiders remained unbeaten in September. The Raiders jumped out to a fast start winning the opening set 25-21. Saint Brendan would return the favor in the second set knotting the match at 1-1. Both teams would trade punches in sets three and four leading to a decisive fifth set. Cami Lindsey '21 and Sophia Antezana '20 would come up clutch with three kills each in the final set, leading the Raiders to a 15-9 victory and a match win. The win puts the Raiders at 3-0 as they head into the CM Cares Tournament this weekend and Chaminade Madonna.
