Defense shines again in 42-0 victory over Marathon

Strong winds and heavy rain did little to prevent the Raiders from a fourth straight victory. The defense got after it on the opening drive with a strip sack and fumble recovery by Stephen Garrett '20. Moments later Junior quarterback Thomas Schein '21 found Senior receiver Rober Moret '20 on a 20 yard touchdown pass giving the Raiders an early 7-0 lead. Later in the half Thomas Heisel '21 would record his first touchdown of the season from three yards out to extend the lead to 14-0. The Raider defense would continue to dominate the line of scrimmage forcing three turnovers. A punt return touchdown by Moret and a receiving touchdown by Nicholas Lampert '21 would put the score at 35-0 at halfime. A running clock in the second half allowed the Raiders to control time of possession and cruise on home for a 42-0 victory and stay unbeaten on the season.
