Raiders close out regular season with win

Cara Signoret '22 had 11 service points and Mia Balestra '21 posted a season high 20 kills as the 13-5 Raiders defeated Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in straight sets. Despite an early deficit in set one the Raiders fought back and never trailed again. Anna Sannia '20 contributed 10 digs and Sophie Antezana '20 added 10 kills to help the Raiders clinch the #1 seed in the district tournament. Both teams wore pink uniforms to help raise awareness for breast cancer as part of the Dig Pink initiative which is designed to educate and empower young athletes while also teaching the value and importance of giving back to the community. All proceeds from the event will go towards breast cancer research and wellness.
