STEM Center comes into focus

The face of the STEM Center came into focus in early November after workers poured concrete to form the monumental staircase and erected the stair walls. With the front-facing window panels virtually complete and the second and third floors closed in, work began on the reflection pond and interior spaces.
With the anticipated completion of the entire envelope of the building in November, workers prepared to lift a large air conditioning unit to the top of the facility to complete the interior work.

A contractor has started the design process for the photovoltaic panel that will provide solar power to the facility, and the interior finishes and equipment are being finalized.

Work on the parking lot on the La Brisa parking lot is proceeding on schedule with most of the infrastructure in place. The parking lot is scheduled to be completed by early January; the STEM Center is on pace for some occupancy in March 2020.
