Raider Battle goes to Gulliver

Our second multi-goal match was not enough as we succumbed to Gulliver, 2-4. A sluggish start opened the door for the 'other' Raiders to take a commanding two goal lead. Lucas Falero pulled one back before the half was complete from an assist by Lincoln Broad. While the team increased their level of competitiveness and attacked more aggressively, the second half ended with a matching scoreline. Sebastian Van De Kreeke's scissor-kick shot was too hot to handle from 12 yards out to complete our scoring. Andres Casal, Lucas Schleifer and Matheus Dabus had standout games as the team adjusted to a new formation and playing style. Much will be expected with a quick turnaround for tomorrow's game away at Westminster.
