REbotics scores awards in Naples
Two middle school REbotics teams earned special awards and four finished in the top four of the Best in Southwest robotics event in Nables on Feb. 8, 2020. The RE team of Joey Buttrick '25, Erick Gross '24, and Varun Raju '24 won the Design Award and finished second overall, leading the way for Ransom Everglades. Team members Myles Heller '24 and Vicky Pinilla '25 contributed to the team's robot but were not present.
The sixth-grade team of Angelo Perez '26, Tino Pena '26, Ryan Alesandro '26 and Eduardo Mascarenas de Sabrit '26 claimed the Inspire Award and finished third.
