Raiders roll in 17-6 win over LaSalle

Senior Abby Sekoff '20 pitched six strong innings giving up four hits and striking out 11 batters as the Raiders cruised to a 17-6 victory. Sekoff also helped herself at the plate going  2 for 2 with a double, three walks, a stolen base and four runs scored. The Raider offense was clicking on all cylinders as junior Taya Wilson '21 went 3 for 4 with a double, two RBI’s and a walk. Senior Yasmina Haddad '20 went  2 for 3 with four RBI’s, and one run scored. Freshman Cheila Castro '23 also joined the hit parade going  2 for 2 with two walks and four runs scored. In total the Raiders combined for 20 hits on the night and never trailed in a strong performance across the board. The victory moves the Raiders to 4-1 on the season as they prepare to host Carol City Tuesday at 5:00 PM.
