Raiders make it four straight defeating Miami Country Day 16-5
The bats stayed hot as the Raiders tallied 15 hits, and 16 runs in a convincing victory over Miami Country Day School. Junior Thomas Heisel '21 got things started early with an RBI triple in the first to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead. Marc Saphier '23, Nicholas Rubino '23, Marc Chaneles '20 and Thomas Heisel '21 would follow a one run first with a five fun second, delivering all five RBI's. Sophomore Thomas Fisher '22 earned the victory on the mound going four innings while striking out five and giving up just one hit. Junior Chris Basile continued his torrid start from the plate with another three hit game. The victory moves the Raiders to 4-2 on the season as they prepare for a key district game against Rivera Prep Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
