Director of Athletics and Physical Education Corey Goff emceed the event, appearing at different spots on campus during the livestream – including in Biscayne Bay on a boat. Head of School Penny Townsend and a number of RE coaches also participated, with coaches presenting awards to athletes on their teams.
Just over a week later, RE athletes received additional recognition at the Miami Herald's virtual all-county awards ceremony. Jake Beber-Frankel '20 and Rachel D'Angulo '20 were named male and female golfers of the year, respectively, for Miami-Dade County. The ceremony also honored all of RE's first-team All-Dade selections throughout the 2019-20 year.
