Pirate dance headlines REmote REpertoire

A jaunty pirate dance around the upper school campus to a Peter Pan medley – and some clever video editing – provided an engaging and amusing start to the second installment of REmote REpertoire in 2020-21. The livestreamed performance, which aired December 2, displayed the talents of RE’s upper school drama students under the direction of faculty member Sam Shapiro in a fast-paced, variety-show style format.
The show led off with “Captain Hook’s Pirates,” a choreographed trek across the upper school, and it concluded with “Hercules: Zero to Hero,” a colorful choral medley. In between, students showcased their performance gifts with recordings from home. Link to the video recording
