Fifteen students win art or writing awards

Fifteen students from Ransom Everglades won recognition in the 2021 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for the southeast region, with several students earning awards for multiple entries. Lucia Rose Dahn '23 earned the highest honor – a Gold Key – for Poetry and Science Fiction & Fantasy, and she and seven other students also claimed Silver Key awards.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
