String students excel at performance assessment

More than two dozen RE string students received superior or excellent ratings for their performances at the virtual Florida Orchestra Association Solo/Ensemble Music Performance Assessments on February 20-21. The students submitted videos of their solo pieces and received feedback on their performances. Through the solo and ensemble experiences, students learn the discipline of rehearsal; advance their musical skills; perform in front of an audience and adjudicator; and benefit from critiques.
