Strong start leads to 19-2 victory for boys Water Polo

Freshman Jake Perdigon '24 had a career high with three goals, and two steals to lead the Raiders to a 19-2 victory over Miami Senior High School. Six Raiders, (Rebessi '23, Gorey '24, Perez '23, Gomez '21, Stanton-Sharpless '23, Carom '22) scored twice in a dominating performance from start to finish. The Raiders got off to a fast start, pitching a shutout and adding seven first period goals. From there the offense would continue to put pressure on Miami Senior High School with 30 shots on goal. Defensively the Raiders received strong goaltending from sophomore Coren O'Brien '23, and freshman Nicolas Poliak '24 who each recorded five blocks and just one goal. The victory moves the Raiders to 6-1 on the season.
