Raiders make statement on senior night with 19-3 victory

Six seniors scored as the Raiders rolled to a 19-3 victory over Miami Country Day in their final regular season home game of the year. It was a special night for 16 seniors who were celebrated for their commitment to the Ransom Everglades lacrosse program, and their remarkable achievements of two district championships and a 42-7 record over their careers as Raiders. Senior goaltender Helaina Harris '21 was phenomenal in the net blocking a season high 11 shots. Senior Chloe Wiesenfeld '21 provided the highlight of the night with a ground ball pick up and a 50 yard scamper avoiding defenders to notch her first goal of the season. The victory moves the Raiders to 9-1 on the season as they begin preparation for a road contest at Palmer Trinity tomorrow afternoon. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
