Semifinal showdown against Miami Country Day awaits as Raiders advance in SFBC playoffs

Senior Chris Basile '21 had a big night going 3-4 from the plate including a three run homer in a 16-1 quarterfinal victory over Everglades Prep. Senior Emmett Gershman '21 added four RBI's of his own, and sophomore Nicholas Rubino '23 had three hits and three runs scored in the victory. Senior James Srebnick '21, sophomore Justin Saphier '23, and freshman Collin Goff '21 combined for seven innings of work on the mound allowing just one run. The victory advances the Raiders to the South Florida Baseball Conference semifinals which will take place this afternoon at Miami Country Day. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
