Ransom Everglades string ensembles performed well-known music from Handel, Mozart and Bach, as well as 20th-century composer Karl Jenkins, during the RE Strings Virtual Concert, an event that aired via livestream on April 30. Strings program director Scott O'Donnell directed the concert, which included solos from two remote students. If you missed the performance, you can find it here.
The concert opened with the string orchestra playing "Sleepers Awake" by Bach, and it included an arrangement from Handel's "Water Music" and Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos." The RE String Quartet performed "Palladio" by Jenkins.
