Raiders defeat SLAM to move to 12-3 on the season
Senior Aidan Rothstein '22 continued his stellar play with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and two steals in a 64-52 victory over SLAM Academy last night at the Henry A. Anderson gymnasium. Despite a sluggish start the Raiders found their footing early in second half with a 12-2 run, which included a slam dunk by senior Devonte Payton '22 that ignited the crowd. Payton would go on to record his first career double double with 12 points, and 12 rebounds in the victory. Senior Eli Goldman '22 and junior Daniel Ribeiro '23 combined for eight three pointers as the Raiders continued their winning formula behind the three point line. The victory moves the team to 12-3 on the season. The Raiders will face a quick turnaround as they host Lasalle this evening. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
