Undermanned Raiders defeat Miami Country Day 2-0

Despite four starters being out, the Raiders dug deep to defeat a tough Miami Country Day team by a score of 2-0 to move to 10-4-1 on the season. Sophomore Sofia Rua '24, and  junior Lauren Howard '23 each scored a goal in the victory. The defense led by senior Hannah Badia '22, and sophomore Mackenzie Buckner '24 were sound on the back end limiting Miami Country Day's offensive opportunities. Freshman goalkeeper Addison Pollack '25 came up big when she needed to and preserved the shutout. The Raiders will head into the final week of the season with the Palm League playoff on the horizon, followed by a final home game against Saint Brendan before the postseason.
