Raiders win 1-0 on senior night

Junior Lauren Howard '23 scored in the 14th minute of the game off a corner kick assist from senior Sophia Salgueiro '22 to give the Raiders the lone goal of the match in a 1-0 victory over class 4A powerhouse Saint Brendan. As has been the case all month, the Raiders were down multiple starters but found a way to come together, and win a hard fought contest as they head into the post season later this week. With the victory the Raiders conclude the regular season with a 10-5-1 record and the third seed in the district 16 class 3A playoff bracket. The Raiders also celebrated seven seniors whose contributions to the program have been special. The Raiders will open the district quarterfinal Wednesday evening against Somerset South Homestead. The game will be played at Robert E. Walker Field.
