Raiders erase double digit deficit to win on senior night
With the score 42-31 late in the third quarter junior Jackson Pegg '23 delivered his best basketball of the season, knocking down two three pointers, and two difficult lay ups to tie the score with just under six minutes to go in the game. From there, senior Zach Marcus '22 and Eli Goldman '22 took over the fourth quarter combining for 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals to carry the Raiders to a 62-59 victory over Miami Beach High School. Seniors De'vonte Payton '22, Aidan Rothstein '22, Dylan Schnur '22, Ale Tacher '22, Eli Goldman '22, and Zach Marcus '22 were all celebrated for their accomplishments and contributions to the RE basketball program after the game. The Raiders will get back to work tonight with their final regular season game at Pine Crest School. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
