MS Raider Band shines during March Mayhem concert

The Middle School Raider Band members shared their talents and showed their progress during an evening concert on March 17 that featured famous marches, offered a play on the March Madness basketball tournament, and celebrated St. Patrick's Day. The "March Mayhem" event at Swenson Hall featured the Beginning Band, the Raider Band and the Combined Band under the direction of middle school band coordinator Cathi Leibinger. Photo Gallery
Band students played famous marches (including the Celebration March and the Infinity March, Irish folk music and pieces they had unveiled at a recent music performance assessment at which they earned "excellent" marks. The concert drew enthusiastic applause from the audience of mostly parents, and band members celebrated with a pizza lunch a day later.
