Master class helps dance team prepare for spring show

The Ransom Everglades Dance Team benefitted from a master class with “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographer, Spencer Liff, a valuable opportunity to grow as dancers as team members prepare for the spring dance show on April 28-29 at Swenson Hall. Liff challenged the dancers physically and artistically with complex routines and advanced technique during the special event in Miami on March 13. A two-time Emmy Award nominee for Outstanding Choreography, Liff worked with dance team members under the direction of dance teacher Desiree Masucci, helping them learn and perform a high volume hip-hop number and a technique-driven contemporary routine.
Liff is part of the non-profit Broadway Dreams, whose mission is to help create the next generation of theatre artists through a unique mentorship and training program. Broadway Dreams will be offering summer intensives around the US with a team made up of creatives and coaches dedicated to elevating students interested in musical theatre. Ransom Everglades students will receive a discount.
