Raider softball wins home finale

Junior Leah Maduro '23 was dominant on the mound throwing a complete game, one hit shutout that included 14 strikeouts as the Raiders defeated Miami Country Day 6-3 to close out their regular season. Offensively, the Raider bats had a big day with freshman Annabelle Miki '25 and junior Sofia De la Torre '24 driving in four runs. The Raiders were aggressive on the bases with six stolen bases in six attempts, and played outstanding defense. The Raiders will now turn their attention to the district playoffs as they prepare to play Key's Gate Charter School Monday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Palmetto Park.
