Clutch final drive leads Raiders to 20-17 victory

Senior quarterback Jackson Pegg '23 came up big late in the fourth quarter with critical throws, and the go ahead rushing touchdown to lead the Raiders to a 20-17 victory in thrilling fashion. Senior tight end AJ Srebnick '23 had his best game of the year with over 100 yards receiving. Junior Max Manna '24 filled in at the wide receiver position for a pair of injured receivers, and provided the Raiders with a huge spark hauling in four catches, including a 25 yard touchdown pass. Defensively, the Raiders had outstanding performances by juniors Michael Kaye '24 and Jordan Gonzalez '24 combining for double digit tackles and an interception by Kaye '24. The victory moves the Raiders to 4-2 as they head into their much needed bye week before wrapping up the regular season against Florida Christian. The Raiders, by way of their victory over Saint Brendan have qualified for the independent league playoffs and will compete in the semifinals on October 28th.
