RE sailing excels in Atlantic Coast Championship

Strong performances by every sailor helped Ransom Everglades score a second place in the Atlantic Coast Championship Nov. 12-13 in Annapolis. The Raiders capitalized on excellence from both its A and B teams in the field of 18 schools from five districts around the nation.
Skippers Jackson McAliley '23 and Ian Fox '24 led the A and B teams, respectively. McAliley and Manolo Campos '23 earned fourth place in the A division as Fox, Christine Keedy Brown '24 and Violet Martin '24 scored third in the B division for the second-best overall performance. Their point total over the event's two days was surpassed only by the host Severn School, and RE was the highest finisher from the Southeast. Both teams train under RE coach Joe Logan.
