Short handed Raiders earn home win

Senior Lauren Howard '23, junior  Sofia Rua '24, and freshman Jojo James '26 each scored in a decisive 3-1 victory over Miami Country Day School to move to 4-1 on the season. The Raiders gave great effort despite being down seven starters dominating time of possession, and shots on goal. It wasn't until the 10 minute mark of the second half when the Raiders finally broke through with three goals in a span of 40 seconds.
Senior Florine Lejisen '23 and freshman Kenzie Connell '26 were excellent on the defensive end in what was a total team effort. The Raiders will get back on the practice field today as they begin preparations for Chaminade Madonna on Monday. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Robert E. Walker Field.
