Raiders get off to strong start in first race of the spring season
The RE Crew team headed up to Canal 54 in Fellsmere Florida this past weekend for their first race of the 2023 Spring season. The Raiders had a strong showing against Sebastian River Rowing. The Raiders fielded 34 athletes in 14 entries. The Junior 8s started the day, with the boys falling to SRR in a very tight race. The girls Junior 8+ brought home the first victory of the day with an open water win for RE. The Raiders showed strong technical rowing in the body of the races, and also took home wins in the Girls 4x, Boys 2x, and Girls 2x. Congratulations to all rowers! The Raiders will return to Canal 54 on March 4th for the 2nd Canal 54 Race series event.
