Raiders finish strong at SAISA South Points # 5 regatta

This past weekend,the raiders competed at home for the first time this year, hosting the SAISA South Points #5 regatta. With tricky light wind conditions, pushing the limits of sailable conditions, the varsity team of Jackson McAliley '23, Griggs Diemar ’25, Manolo Campos ‘25, and Violet Martin ‘24 in A Division, as well as Ian Fox ‘24, Olivia Drulard ‘23, and Evelyn Yu ‘24 in B, won their division and finished 3rd overall. Congratulations as well to the JV team of Ava McAliley ‘26, Garrett Fox ‘26, Sebastian Van de Kreeke ‘25, Kayra Serpenguzel ‘25, Lucas Lippey ‘25, Amelia Lazarus’25, and Rebecca Ferrer ’24 who won their second regatta of the season. The raiders will get back on the water today as they prepare for South Points #6 next weekend at Davis Island Yacht Club in Tampa.
