Raiders earn first victory of the season in 14-0 shutout

Sophomore Noah Martin '25 led the way with four solid innings of work picking up a much needed victory for the Raiders. Freshman Juan Velazco '26 and junior Nate Kaplan '24 provided the run support for the Raiders, combining for 6 hits, 8 RBI's, and 5 runs scored in the victory. Freshman Jacob Rubenstein '26 had a breakout performance with 2 runs scored to go along with an RBI single. The Raiders jumped out to a big lead in the second inning thanks in part to a nine run inning that included a two out RBI double by senior Jack Harris '23. The Raiders would cruise from there in route to a 14-0 victory. The Raiders will look to build on their victory as they head to Westwood Christian for a 4:00 p.m. matchup this afternoon.
